Medieval Life Flashcards:
Lots of flashcards with knights, nobles, peasants, and other medieval characters.
The following three worksheets dealing with medieval life and society are intended for enrichment purposes. Probably it is better to attempt them after doing the flashcard game a few times so that the students are familiar with the terms beforehand. The theme of the worksheets, especially the cloze is the stratification of medieval society into 'those who fight', 'those who work', and 'those who pray', or, in other words, the nobility, the peasantry, and the church. These worksheets are more difficult than many of the other materials found on Lanternfish ESL. They were developed for 'gifted' ESL students who had a good grasp of English and liked to be challenged with content.
