Dialogue:
Depends on What?
1. A: Are you buying that mattress?
B: It depends on the price. If it’s on sale, then I probably will.
2. A: Are you going anywhere this weekend?
B: I’m thinking of driving up North. It depends on the weather.
3. A: Are you meeting your friend tomorrow?
B: It depends. She might have to babysit, but if she doesn’t babysit, we’ll
probably go to the park.
4. A: Are you coming to the movies tonight.
B: Maybe. It depends on my work. I might have to stay late tonight.
5. A: Are you going to the party tomorrow?
B: I’d like to, but it depends on how I feel. I’ve been feeling a little sick lately.
6. A: Are you going to apply for that job?
B: I might. It depends on the salary. I don’t know how much it pays.
7. A: Do you always drink red wine?
B: Not always. It depends on what we have for dinner. I prefer white wine with fish or chicken.
8. A: Are you playing cards with us tonight?
B: Maybe. It depends on what time I finish my homework.
