The Advantages of Solar Power
Erin: Hey, dad. What are you researching?
Dad: I’m looking at some solar panels.
Erin: Solar panels? Do we need solar panels?
Dad: We don’t need them, but there are several advantages to having them.
Erin: Like what?
Dad: Well, one advantage is that they are good for the environment. They don’t produce any pollution.
Erin: That’s good.
Dad: And that’s not all. Once you install them, you get free electricity for years and years. We could save a lot of money.
Erin: Great! So why don’t you get them?
Dad: They are very expensive to install.
Erin: But you said we could save money.
Dad: Yeah, in the long run. But I would have to spend a lot of money right now to buy them and install them.
