Christmas Eve Traditions
Erin: The guests are going to be here soon.
Dad: We should start bringing out the food and setting up the table.
Erin: What are we going to do tonight?
Dad: We’ll sit around and talk while we eat. And then maybe we’ll play some cards. And after that we’ll watch Scrooge.
Erin: Scrooge again? We saw that last year.
Dad: That’s right. We watch it every year.
Erin: Can’t we watch something different? We’ve seen it so many times.
Dad: I watched it with my Dad every year on Christmas Eve when I was growing up. It’s our family tradition.
Erin: Fine. I’ll watch it again.
