Hit-and-Run Incident in Downtown
Good evening! I’m Chris Gunn and I’m here with today’s top news stories.
Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident in the downtown area. A woman in her 30s was struck by a motorist as she was walking to work this morning.The vehicle is described as a blue pick-up truck. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
A construction worker was injured this afternoon when he fell from a two story building he was working on. The worker was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and is in stable condition.
City council has announced that garbage collection will be moved from Wednesdays to Thursdays. Residents are also asked to separate their garbage. Plastic, paper, metal and glass should be placed in a blue recycling bin and will be picked up separately.
