A Man Charged with Manslaughter
Good evening! I’m Chris Gunn and I’m here with your news at nine.
A man has been charged with manslaughter in the death of another man outside a pub in Surrey. The two men fought after having an argument inside the pub. The victim was found unconscious and taken to hospital where he later died.
Three people were rescued yesterday off the West Coast of Vancouver Island when their boat broke down. The Coast Guard were called to assist the boaters who were drifting helplessly.
More apartments will be built along Dogwood St. The city council has approved a plan to build 68 new apartments behind the Merecroft Village shopping mall. The city council says the development should help ease the rental shortage within the city.
