Dialogue:
Snow on the Weekend
Dad: The temperature dropped last night.
Erin: Yeah, it’s really chilly. It must be minus five right now. Look at the frost on the grass and the rooftops.
Dad: And the ponds are frozen over as well.
Erin: I sure hope it snows.
Dad: Well then you’ll be happy to know that they are forecasting snow this Saturday and Sunday.
Erin: Yay! How much snow are they expecting?
Dad: It’s supposed to be about 10 cm on Saturday and then about 30 cm on Sunday.
Erin: It’s too bad it not Thursday and Friday instead.
Dad: Why is that?
Erin: We could have a snow day. It’s a waste to have it fall on the weekend.
Dad: Humph! You just can’t please some people.
