The Cold Weather
Erin: See you later dad. I’m going to school now.
Dad: Hang on a sec. You’re not going to school dressed like that.
Erin: Why not?
Dad: You’ll freeze. Put your winter coat on. And take some gloves, hat, and a scarf out of the closet as well.
Erin: Dad, I’ll be ok. It only takes ten minutes to walk to school.
Dad: I don’t care. You’ll catch a cold if you go outside like that.
Erin: Dad! It’s not that cold, really.
Dad: Erin, look at the thermometer by the door. It’s minus 4 right now. And it’s supposed to get even colder this afternoon.
Erin: Fine. I’ll go get my coat.
