The Emergency Broadcast
This is an emergency broadcast from the National Weather Service. Severe weather conditions are expected along the coast. Gale-force winds and heavy rains are forecast for the next twelve hours. Coastal areas will experience winds approaching 80 km/h starting around 7:00 pm and lasting till early morning. High winds are expected to knock down trees and may cause power outages. Residents are advised to stay indoors.
