Dialogue:
He Must Be Doing 110
Erin: Slow down dad! The speed limit is 50.
Dad: No, it isn’t. It’s 80.
Erin: Didn’t you see the sign back there? It said 50.
Dad: Where?
Erin: Right before the last curve.
Dad: I guess I must have missed it. There! I’m slowing down. Are you happy?
Erin: Yes, thank you!
Dad: Look at this guy passing me. He’s sure in a hurry. He must be doing 110.
Erin: Yeah, he must have missed the sign as well.
Dad: Oh! Look! There’s a ghost car. He’s getting pulled over.
Erin: Do you think he’ll get a ticket?
Dad: Yup. And that’s going to be an expensive ticket.
Erin: Why is that?
Dad: That was excessive speeding. Anytime you are over the speed limit by more than 40 km per hour you have to pay a huge fine. It’s almost triple the regular speeding fine.
Erin: Ouch! It’s lucky I was with you then.
Dad: Yeah, that could have been me.
