On Three Conditions
Dad: Erin, wake up!
Erin: What time is it?
Dad: It’s six o’clock! The sun is rising. There’s not a cloud in the sky. It’s going to be a beautiful day.
Erin: Six o’clock! Ugh! Are you kidding me? Go away and shut the door.
Dad: Come on. Wake up. Let’s go kayaking.
Erin: Kayaking? Are you crazy? Leave me alone.
Dad: Come on. I’ve been waiting all week for the weather to improve.
Erin: Fine. I’ll go kayaking with you on three conditions.
Dad: Whatever you want! Name them!
Erin: First you make breakfast. I want bacon and eggs.
Dad: Done! And the second condition.
Erin: You take me to the movies tonight.
Dad: Agreed. And the third condition.
Erin: You come back at 8 o' clock when I’m awake.
