Dialogue:
The Job Offer
Dad: Hi, kids. I’m home.
Erin: Hi, dad. How was the job interview?
Dad: It went really well. They seemed very interested.
Erin: Are you going to take the job if you get it?
Dad: I’m not sure. It depends on a few things.
Erin: Like what?
Dad: It depends on the salary for one. They still haven’t told me how much the job pays exactly. It also depends on the location.
Erin: The location?
Dad: Yeah, they were hiring people for a few different places. They asked me how I would feel about moving to another city.
Erin: That would suck. We just moved here last year.
Dad; It would, wouldn’t it? You and your brother are just getting settled in.
Erin: I don’t want to move again. Do you think you’d take the job if it’s in another city?
Dad: I feel the same way. If they offer me a job somewhere else, I’ll probably turn it down.
