Dialogue:
The Lottery Ticket
Erin: Dad! What are you doing?
Dad: Buying a lottery ticket. Don’t tell your mom though.
Erin: Why don’t you want mom to know?
Dad: She thinks buying lottery tickets is a waste of money. She calls it an idiot tax.
Erin: I see. What would you do with the money if you won?
Dad: Well, the first thing I would do is take the family on a nice long vacation. I would also buy us a new house and then I would put the rest in the bank.
Erin: What about me?
Dad: What about you?
Erin: You wouldn’t give me any money?
Dad: Not now. Maybe when you’re older…but I would pay for your education. You could go to whatever university you wanted.
Erin: Geez. Thanks a lot. You win a million bucks and I get to go to school.
